How can Daylight Savings and Time Changes affect my processing?

It is very important that the date and time on your terminal is correct to avoid any processing issues or funding delays. Please follow these steps for your terminal model to update the date and time when we fall back or spring forward during daylight savings! 

 

To change the date/time on your Stax Pay Virtual Terminal/ Stax Pay Mobile Application

Great news! The omni software does not require any manual time updates. The Omni Virtual Terminal /Mobile application will auto update for your timezone. So don't panic and keep processing! 

To change the date / time on Dejavoo Terminal Models

This machine does not update automatically, so please note it is recommended to update the date/time before the first transaction after the time change. See below steps to update date/time.

1. From the main sale screen press the GREEN OK key

2. Select UTILITY

3. Select SETTINGS

4. Select DATE AND TIME

5. If the date on the screen is correct, press the GREEN OK key. If it is incorrect, please type in the new date in the following format: MM/DD/YY

6. If the time on the screen is correct, press the GREEN OK key. If it is incorrect, please type in the new time in 24 hour (military) time using the following format: HH:MM:SS

7. Press the RED X key until back on the sale screen

To change the date/time on PAX Terminal Models

This machine should update the time automatically, however it is recommended to review the date/time before the first transaction after the time change. If it did not update automatically follow the below steps to update the date/time. 

1. Enter the android app 

2. Select settings

3. Select date and time

4. Select automatic time zone

To change the date/time on Verifone Terminal Models

This machine does not update automatically, so please note it is recommended to update the date/time before the first transaction after the time change. See below steps to update date/time. 

From the main Sale/Void/Refund screen:

  1. Press [Enter]
  2. Press F2 for Setup
  3. If prompted, key in the password 1 Alpha Alpha 6 6 8 3 1 then press the green [Enter] key; otherwise, continue to step 4.
  4. Press [Scroll Down] (Far Left Purple Button under the Down Arrow on the screen) four times.
  5. Press F1 for Date/Time
  6. Key in the correct date in MM/DD/YYYY format then press the green [Enter] key.
  7. Key in the correct time in HH:MM:SS format (in Military Time, use 00 for seconds) then press the green [Enter] key.
  8. Press the red [Cancel] key until you return to the main screen.
