Your membership with Stax has no penalty for termination of service. However, if you have processed the month of cancellation, we will need to keep your account open until the end of the month. If the bill date falls within the period between cancellation and closure, this will be the final bill.
If you received a free terminal, once your account is closed, you will receive an email from @ingrammicro.com with a return label for the terminal.

Stax's cancellation policy is stated on the application and is as follows:
The application Terms and Conditions list the term of the merchant agreement as three years with a cancellation fee as specified on the application. Please note that our Early Deconversion Fee or Early Termination Fee is $0. There is no penalty for termination of service, however, if you have processed in the month of cancellation, we will need to keep your account open until the end of the month. If the bill date falls within the period between cancellation and closure, this will be the final bill.
Terminal Placement Agreement: If the merchant has received a terminal included in their membership, they acknowledge that their terminal is FREE OF CHARGE so long as the merchant is processing through Stax. Upon termination of the merchant account, the merchant agrees that the equipment must be returned to Stax headquarters within ten business days. If the equipment is not returned within ten business days of termination, the merchant understands that a charge of $499.00 for the replacement value of the terminal will be applied.
