Stax Pay: Setup of the QuickBooks Online Pro Sync

There are 2 options when setting up the QuickBooks Online Pro Sync:

  1. Sync 1 Stax Pay account to your QuickBooks Online account
  2. Sync 2 or more accounts from Stax pay, to 1 account in QuickBooks Online

To get started with syncing 1 Stax Pay account to your QuickBooks Online account:

  1. Navigate to Stax Pay
  2. Select Apps
  3. Select Quickbooks Online Sync
  4. Select Open
  5. Select Enable Sync Pro
  6. Select Confirm
  7. If you have not logged in already, you will be prompted to log in to QuickBooks Online
  8. Select Connect

All customers, invoices, payments, and catalog items will now sync between Stax Pay and QuickBooks Online. When the sync is being performed, you do not need to stay on the page, you can navigate to any other page in your browser if needed and the sync will continue until finished.

To sync 2 or more accounts in Stax Pay to 1 account in QuickBooks Online: 

  1. Navigate to Stax Pay
  2. Select Apps
  3. Select QuickBooks Online Sync
  4. Select Open
  5. Select Enable Sync Pro
  6. Choose the option for Selective 1-way *you must choose this option when syncing multiple accounts
  7. Select Confirm
  8. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account
  9. Complete integration (you will be brought back to Stax Pay)
  10. Select the next account from the dropdown in the top right corner
  11. Follow steps 2-9 again

*The first time the sync is initiated, all unpaid invoices in QuickBooks Online will be sent to Stax Pay.
After that, transactions will only be sent from Stax Pay to your QuickBooks Online account.
