Swipe Simple: Troubleshooting

  1. To test the device, connect the reader and open the Diagnostic Tool in the Settings of the SwipeSimple app. You will find the compatibility status in the Reader Status area of the page
  2. Confirm the reader has been fully charged using the USB cord provided with the reader
  3. Ensure the volume on the device is at the maximum level. If a warning message comes up when the device is plugged in it must be accepted. (Typically happens on Samsung devices.)
  4. Turn Bluetooth off when using an audio-jack card reader
