Verifone Vx520: US Debit vs Visa or Mastercard Debit

When a debit card is swiped or inserted into the terminal two options will appear:

•      Visa/Mastercard Debit
•      US Debit

If the customer would like to input their PIN, select US Debit.

If the customer would like to bypass their PIN, select Visa/Mastercard Debit.

*If the PIN is bypassed the transaction will be run as credit (signature debit).
